CYO Cheer
About
The Basilica of Saint Mary (BSM) CYO Cheer program develops dance, cheer, and leap skills while promoting sportsmanship and team spirit in a fun environment. Participants develop their athletic skills and find fellowship through team practice. The program strives to ensure equal opportunity for all and to create a sense of team & community pride for our players, parents and volunteers.
CYO Cheer is a Winter sport. Evaluations and practices will start in late Fall with teams ready to cheer our CYO basketball teams when games begin in early December thru finals in early March. The season ends with a diocesan competition hosted by Bishop Ireton in mid-March.
Female students of all levels (beginner to advanced) in Grades 4 – 8 are welcome to participate and must register via the Registration page and directions on this site.
Cost is $182 per participant for the season (includes fees and full uniform).
