The Basilica of Saint Mary has a Communal First Saturday devotion. On the first Saturday of every month, the Basilica will have:

• Eucharistic Adoration and a Guided Meditation on a Mystery of the Rosary at 8:00 am
• Mass at 8:30 am
• Confessions and a Rosary at 9:00 am

On December 10, 1925, Our Lady told Sister Lucia of Fatima, “I promise to assist at the hour of death, with all the graces necessary for salvation, all those who on the first Saturday of five consecutive months go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary and keep company with me for 15 minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me.”

We will remember these words of Our Lady as we continue our Communal First Saturdays at the Basilica of Saint Mary. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
