About

Santa Familia is a ministry of the Basilica of Saint Mary dedicated to Catholic young adults who are married, engaged, or dating with the intent of marriage. We aim to accompany couples in every season—whether newly married, raising young children, or discerning future steps—by fostering Christ-centered community, prayer, and formation.

We believe in the beauty of the domestic Church and the mission of marriage as a witness to the world. Through monthly gatherings, small group connections, and shared formation, Santa Familia is a joyful response to the call to holiness in marriage and family life.

Opportunities by Season & Stage of Life

Recognizing the unique needs of couples at different points in their relationship and family life, Santa Familia offers a rotating calendar of opportunities throughout the year. These include events and gatherings for:

  • Couples, both married and engaged, with and without children
  • Wives and Mothers
  • Husbands and Fathers
  • Families

From informal brunches to deeper spiritual formation, Santa Familia provides space for prayer, conversation, and joyful community rooted in the vocation of marriage. Seasonal rhythms allow couples to grow in friendship with one another and within the broader parish family.

What to Expect

Each Santa Familia event includes a time of:

  • Formation – talks and panels on the faith, marriage, or parenthood
  • Support – honest accompaniment through joys and trials

All events are rooted in the Church’s vision for marriage and family, open to those actively pursuing holiness in their relationships
