CYO Cheer Games & Practices
Practices
- There will be 2-3 pre-season practices in November 2026 to learn choreography. These clinics will be 1.5 hours.
- From December 2026 – March 2027, there will be weekly 1 hour practices for younger grades, and 1.5 hour practices for older grades.
- Practices will be held in Christ Child Hall at the Basilica School of St. Mary (400 Green St.).
Games
- Cheering for each middle school team at least once which would mean 1 game per weekend throughout the season and potentially 2 games per weekend twice during the season.
- To allow cheerleaders to participate in other activities, coaches will send a Sign-Up Genius to have close to the maximum allowed number of cheerleaders at each game. Each cheerleader must attend at least 5 games throughout the season.
- Cheering for any teams that make it to the championship in March.
