The Basilica of Saint Mary seeks to support married couples, engaged couples, and families in every season of life. Through formation, fellowship, retreats, pastoral support, and practical resources, our Marriage & Family Life apostolate helps individuals and families grow in faith, strengthen relationships, and remain rooted in Christ and His Church.

This page serves as a central hub for the Basilica’s current marriage and family life offerings. Some opportunities are already established and open for participation, while others are being built up to better accompany parishioners through the realities of marriage, parenting, disability, infertility, and family life.
Prepare to Serve
Our parish marriage formation program for couples preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony at the Basilica.
This formation includes seminars, mentorship, and accompaniment as couples prepare for a Christ-centered marriage.
Santa Familia
A young adult ministry for those who are married or engaged, offering opportunities for prayer, fellowship, formation,
and community with others in a similar season of life.
Date Night at the Basilica
A space for married and engaged couples to invest intentionally in their relationship through shared formation,
meaningful conversation, and time together.
Heaven in Your Home / Trinity House Community Gatherings
Gatherings designed to help families grow in faith and community while learning practical ways to build a more
Christ-centered home life.
Support for Parents with NICU Babies or Children with Disabilities
A ministry of accompaniment for families navigating the NICU, disability diagnoses,
developmental challenges, and the ongoing demands of caring for children with particular needs. This ministry seeks to connect families with others who have walked a similar path.
Infertility Support & Resources
We recognize that infertility can be a hidden and deeply painful cross. We hope these resources are helpful to connect individuals and couples with faithful support, pastoral accompaniment, and resources in our parish and from the Diocese.
Marriage Retreats & Workshops
In addition to ongoing formation and fellowship, the Basilica is continuing to build up retreats and workshops for married and engaged couples.
This page will grow to include annual retreats, workshop opportunities, and offerings such as RelateWell.
A Growing Apostolate
Marriage and family life include many different joys, responsibilities, and crosses. As this apostolate continues to develop, we hope to offer meaningful pathways for couples and families to encounter Christ, receive support, and grow in communion with one another and the parish.
