Vacation Bible School Registration

The registration fee is waived if you register your child and volunteer at VBS (for adults only who are OPCYP compliant at the time of registration).

As parent/legal guardian of the participant named above, I give my permission to participate fully in the Basilica of Saint Mary's Vacation Bible School from July 7th to 12th, 2025 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM at the Basilica School of Saint Mary, 400 Green St, Alexandria, VA 22314. I agree to indemnify and hereby release the Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington and his successors in office, as well as the Catholic Diocese of Arlington and all Diocesan clergy, employees, volunteers, and participating parishes and schools from any and all liability, claims, demands for personal injury, sickness and death, as well as property damage and expenses of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the undersigned of the participant resulting from said participant’s involvement in the above mentioned event (including transportation to and from the event). Furthermore, I on behalf of the participant hereby assume all risk of personal injury, sickness, death, damage, and expenses resulting from said participant’s involvement in the above-described event.

A parent may withhold permission to have a child photographed and/or videotaped during Vacation Bible School at The Basilica of Saint Mary. If you do not want your child to be photographed and/or videotaped, please send notification in writing to the Basilica of Saint Mary's Office of Religious Education with the name of your child(ren) stating: DO NOT allow my child(ren) to be photographed or videotaped during The Basilica of Saint Mary's VBS. Photographs taken during the week may be used for a slide show/selected for promotional use by St. Mary’s staff.
