Catholic Vacation Bible School

For your summer planning, your family is invited to participate in the following:

• Catholic Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 12 Noon, July 13-17, 2026

This year’s theme is Marvelous Mystery: The Mass Comes Alive!

Immerse in the greatest mystery on earth and spend a week learning about the incredible treasure of the Mass.  The Mass comes alive as you deepen your love for Jesus in the Eucharist and strengthen your faith. Children will develop a new appreciation for the Mass through faith teachings, virtue/saint/bible verse of the day, songs and music, crafts, and fun games! Here’s a preview.

VBS (rising kindergarten – grade 5 students): 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The Basilica of Saint Mary School Gym, Alexandria, VA

Each half day camp teaches children about the Catholic faith. Throughout our time together, kids learn about how to pray and serve one another, as well as interact and play games.

Middle school and high school programs will begin with attendance at 8:00 a.m. Mass, then assist and lead VBS stations. The high school program extends to the afternoon with faith formation and adoration.
