Single-Sex Small Groups

Young adults are invited to join or lead a single-sex small group in our parish. These groups are an opportunity to grow in brotherhood or sisterhood, and to learn more about the Bible or delve into other devotional and spiritual works.

Sunday Coffee

All young adult parishioners are invited to “Sunday Coffee” following 10am Mass at the backyard of Casa Frassati, 307 S Royal Street across from the Basilica steps and through the Pitt Street parking lot!

Please join us and help build a strong young adult community, even if it’s only for a few minutes.

Old Town Theology on Tap

All young adults (21-39) are invited to Theology on Tap in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria at Murphy’s Irish Pub every first Monday of the month starting with specials at 6:30PM!

This event is co-sponsored by the Basilica of Saint Mary and the Office of Youth, Campus and Young Adult Ministries.

Service Opportunities

Consider giving of your time, talent, and treasure to those in need in our parish community and the community-at-large! We have many opportunities to serve others through our Young Adults and Young Families Apostolate, and are always open to new ideas and volunteers.

Other Opportunities

The Young Adult Apostolate also offers opportunities for hikes, outings, pilgrimages, dances, and more. These opportunities are shared on our website, bulletin, emails, and social media.
