ABOUT THE SPEAKER AND MURPHY'S

About the Speaker

Gastón Reboredo III was born in Miami, Florida to Venezuelan immigrants. After studying Business Administration at Florida Atlantic University, he moved to Washington, DC in 2013 to study Audio Production at American University, where he received his second Bachelor’s degree, as well as a Master’s. For the past 10 years, he has worked on podcasts at The Brookings Institution, and it is during this time that he had a “road to Damascus” moment that ultimately led him back to Jesus Christ and His One True Church.

Gastón is a parishioner at the Basilica of St. Mary in Alexandria, where he serves as an usher and sacristan, and is a Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Fitzgerald Council 459. He has been accepted by the Diocese of Arlington as a seminarian and is set to begin his priestly formation this August at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

In his spare time, he likes to play music and board games with friends, try new foods and restaurants, and go out for drives in the countryside. He is a self-proclaimed Buc-ee’s fanboy and aspires to be the patron saint of memes.
