All young adults (21-39) are invited to Theology on Tap in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub on Monday, February 2nd, 2026. Our speaker for the evening is Fr. Daniel Reuwer.

Talk Title: “Stop Overthinking It: How to Decide with God”

Discerning God’s will, big and small, is one of the most important jobs in our lives. Having the right tools for the job always makes it easier. In this talk, Fr. Daniel will offer a series of tools for discernment that, when properly used together, help make one of life’s biggest tasks a little bit easier.

Time: Arrive at 6:45 PM for drinks and social time. The talk begins at 7:30 PM and ends with Q&A at 8:15 PM.

About the Speaker and Murphys

About the Speaker

Fr. Daniel Reuwer currently is the Chaplain at Bishop O’Connell High School. Prior to this, Fr. Daniel was at All Saints parish in Manassas, where he served as Parochial Vicar for the past three years. A graduate of Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C., Father Daniel discerned his vocation while teaching religion and social studies at Saint William of York School in Stafford. After attending St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia, he was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Arlington on June 4, 2022.
