All young adults (ages 21–39) are invited to Theology on Tap at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub in the heart of Old Town Alexandria on Monday, August 3, 2026. Food and drink specials begin at 6:30 p.m. Our speaker for the evening is Keith Hetrick.

Time: Arrive at 6:30 PM for drinks and social time. The talk begins at 7:30 PM and ends with Q&A at 8:15 PM.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER AND MURPHY'S
About the Speaker
Keith Hetrick is a data scientist, speaker, and author from Northern Virginia currently living in Arlington. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his master’s degree from the Georgia Tech.
Keith’s most significant credentials, however, have come through life’s unpredictable and not desired challenges. Beginning with terminal brain cancer at age 14, he has spent more than two decades overcoming extraordinary medical hardships and miraculous survivals.
Now, his first book, He Lives: Finding Peace in Suffering, will be released on August 11, 2026…his 37th birthday. His story aims to guide others to understand God’s will, encounter peace, have hope, and discover purpose, even in the midst of suffering.
