In the first installment of our 1795 Series lectures, Robert Royal will lecture on “The World and the Church in 1795.” His presentation will be on Tuesday, January 21, at 7:30 pm in our Lyceum Auditorium (313 Duke Street).
Royal is the founder and President of the Faith & Reason Institute in Washington, D.C. and Editor-in-Chief of The Catholic Thing. He is author of over 10 books and his his articles have appeared in scholarly journals and publications including First Things, The Wilson Quarterly, The Catholic Historical Review, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, and National Review.
