The Basilica School of Saint Mary Celebrates Its 2nd Annual Grandparents and Special Friends Appreciation Day

The Basilica School of Saint Mary hosted its 2nd Annual Grandparents and Special Friends Appreciation Day this afternoon. Several hundred family members — including many grandparents — showed up in the school gym to be welcomed by Father Edward Hathaway, the Rector of the Basilica, and Robert Loia, the school’s Principal.

The highlight was a tour of the school as the family members roamed the hallways, saw the various rooms in the school, such as the students’ classrooms and the chapel, met with teachers and interacted with other families.
