Basilica hosts Bishop Burbidge and Dr. John Bergsma for Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul
The Basilica of Saint Mary held its annual Saints Peter and Paul Conference on June 29, which is the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. Bishop Michael Burbidge celebrated Mass to open the conference. Biblical scholar Dr. John Bergsma of Franciscan University in Steubenville was the conference’s keynote speaker. The topic of his talks was “But Did It Really Happen? The Historical Reliability of the Bible.”
