SEEF to receive nearly $18,000 because of Basilica School of Saint Mary’s Seminarian Sprint

On May 29, the Basilica School of Saint Mary held their 2019 Seminarian Sprint. Several of our seminarians were present to encourage the kids as they ran their relay races.

This yearly event raises money for the Diocese of Arlington’s Seminarian Education Endowment Fund, which is a growing fund that supports the formation of our diocesan seminarians. Over $5,900 was raised by our students, but the SEEF will additionally receive matching donations of that amount from the Basilica of Saint Mary and donor Laura Coleman, who is a co-founder of the SEEF. That means this year’s contribution will total nearly $18,000.
