Peter’s Pence Collection

As a time-honored initiative to show solidarity, Peter’s Pence is the financial assistance offered by the faithful throughout the world directly to the Holy Father. This assistance supports the Holy See’s works of charity and sustains the Offices which assist the Pope in the exercise of his pastoral ministry to the universal Church. The purpose of the Peter’s Pence Collection is to provide the Holy Father with the financial means to respond to those who are suffering as a result of war, oppression, natural disaster, and disease.
