“From the Archives” 1945 Chalice from Saint Rita’s

The chalice Father Edward Hathaway used in today’s Memorial Day Mass at our cemetery was a gift from Saint Rita’s Catholic Church in Alexandria to our parish in May of 1945 to commemorate our parish’s 150th anniversary. It was given to us shortly after VE Day in World War II. Watch the Memorial Day Mass here. Below are photos of the chalice.
