Father David to Explain the Mass during a Special Presentation in the Basilica on November 29, 2021

The catechetical focus for Preparation Year 1 of the Diocesan Golden Jubilee is the Eucharist: “Remember — remembering the past with gratitude” — “Do this in remembrance of me.” With this in Mind, the Basilica of Saint Mary is offering a special presentation called The Mass Explained by Father David Dufresne, which will take place on Monday, November 29, in the church starting at 7:30 p.m.  It’s part of a Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults class, but parishioners are invited to attend. Father David will take attendees through the Mass, step by step. It’s a wonderful way for everyone — from cradle Catholic to newcomer — to learn more about the Mass and the Eucharist, the source and summit of our Catholic faith.
