CYO Tennis Events and Matches

Events

On Saturday, September 6th, 2025 there will be a kick-off event including mass and an opportunity to meet the coaches! All are welcome for a day filled with prayer and fun for all families. You can find more information on our calendar.

Matches

(Grades 4-8) Play weekly on Sundays against other Northern Virginia Junior CYO teams starting early September and ending beginning of November.   Matches are held at various locations within the diocese.

CYO Match play is broken up into the following Leagues:

Wimbledon 1: Beginners only for the 4th & 5th graders. For new players just starting out. Three doubles teams are played and NO singles matches. Total of 6 players will participate on Sundays per team with potential of more players in exhibition match play.

Wimbledon 2: Advanced Beginners for the 4th & 5th graders.  Eligible players are those who have had lessons or have played on a team or competitive matches. Three singles matches and two doubles matches. Total of 7 players will participate on Sundays per team with the potential of more players in exhibition match play.

US Open 1: Advanced beginners and intermediate players for the 6th – 8th Grade.  Three singles matches and two doubles matches. Total of 7 players will participate on Sundays per team with potential of more players in exhibition match play.

US Open 2: Advanced skill level for 7th – 8th Grade. Three singles matches and two doubles matches. Total of 7 players will participate on Sundays per team with potential of more players in exhibition match play.
