Why Join Volleyball?

Volleyball is a sport that is easy to learn and fun to play.  Players will make tremendous progress in a few short weeks.  Coaches will ensure each athlete performs to the best of his or her ability in a fun, encouraging environment.

What to Expect?

The Basilica of Saint Mary’s CYO volleyball program is created to be developmentally appropriate for young athletes. Practice will be once a week in the Basilica Gymnasium. There is one team for 3rd and 4th graders, one for 5th and 6th graders, and one for 7th and 8th graders.  There will not be tryouts.  The volleyball matches use a rotation of players, so playing time is very even among all players.
