The Basilica’s Catholic Daughters of the Americas Sets a “Table of Grace” by Publishing a Cookbook

Maureen Phillips-Houser, Regent for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Kavanaugh No. 54, invites all to purchase a limited edition, curated collection of sacred traditions and recipes organized around the liturgical year, which the CDA apostolate recently published. Called “Table of Grace,” this personal cookbook was published to celebrate the Court’s 120th anniversary this year. The cookbook captures the memories of the members through their personal anecdotes and remembrances on a recipe and pictures from the 1930 to today. It has over 140 recipes, and it may be purchased at the Pauline Books and Media Center (1025 King St. in Alexandria, Virginia).
Or email the Catholic Daughters at cdabasilicaofstmary@gmail.com to ask for a copy, which can be picked up at the Basilica’s parish office, 313 Duke Street, Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Donations of $70 are appreciated when picking up at the parish office, as all proceeds of the cookbook will be donated to charity.
