Engaged/Married Couples: Boost your Relationship and Enjoy a Date on June 15, 2024, as Part of the “10 Great Dates” Program

Date Night at the Basilica (DNATB) returns with its compelling marriage enrichment program: “10 Great Dates,” which helps spark intimacy, romance, and fruitful conversations between married and engaged couples as they spend time together on a date.

PLEASE NOTE: The May 18th Great Date has been postponed.

The next Date Night will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The evening’s topic will be “Connecting Faith, Love, and Marriage” and “Achieving an Intentional Marriage.” Please register below to attend.

+ Arrive at the Lyceum Auditorium, 313 Duke Street, on May 18, 2024, at 6 p.m. for brief social time of fellowship with other couples, followed by a short, entertaining video launching a topic and theme for your Great Date.

+ Leave the Lyceum as a couple for a fun, purposeful Great Date.

+ On the date, discuss the video & date themes to energize your relationship.

+ Enjoy the deepened intimacy & relationship recharge until the next Great Date

The Benefits of Attending a Great Date

The 10 Great Dates book and video course by David and Claudia Arp help spark romance with memory-making evenings built on key, marriage-enriching themes such as: communication, conflict, encouragement, balancing roles of parent and partner. After a short video that sets the stage for discussion, couples are sent out for their own private dates. Whether newlywed or newly retired, quiver full or empty nest, Sandwich Generation or Gen-X, parents of toddlers or parents of teens, ho-hum or humming along, all types of marriages benefit from the investment in great dates.

Babysitting Service Fee Payment
Date Night at the Basilica will provide a babysitting service from 6-9 p.m. on the night of the date. There will be a $10 flat family fee for this service. We only have room for 20 children. If the limit is reached, please send an email to [email protected] in order to be put on a waiting list.
Payment can be made via Faith Direct here ahead of the night of the date. If you want to pay by check, please drop the check off at the parish office, 313 Duke Street, ahead of the night of the date and make the check payable to Date Night at the Basilica.
For those couples who arrive late (after 9 p.m. on the night of the date) there will be a $5 penalty for every three minutes you are late, for each child. Payments by credit card or by check will be accepted for any penalty minutes incurred at the end of the date.

NO CASH PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE FLAT FAMLY FEE OR FOR ANY PENALTY MINUTES INCURRED.
