We are so excited for the November installment of Couples Connect, this time in the Shenandoah Valley!
If you are an engaged or married young adult couple, you are invited to spend the day enjoying community with other couples, Virginia’s beautiful fall views, and individual prayer and connection with your spouse/fiance. Our day features the incredible locations of Bluemont Vineyard, Great Country Farms, and Holy Cross Abbey!
Schedule for Saturday, November 8
🍇🍷🥂 12 PM: Drinks and views at Bluemont Vineyard
🧺🍎🍁 2:00 PM: Fall treats and exploration of Great Country Farms
⛪🍯✨ 3:45 PM: Gift shop and individual couple time at Holy Cross Abbey
🕯️📖🙏 5:30 PM: Vespers and Benediction at the Abbey
Bluemont Vineyard
We’ll begin our glorious fall day at 12 PM with drinks and incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Bluemont Vineyard. In addition to wine, Bluemont Vineyards offers flatbreads, nibbles, soda, and juice.

After a quick 15 min drive, we’ll gather at 2:00 PM to enjoy fall treats and walk around at Great Country Farms. Their bakery and farm market offers espresso, donuts, apple cider and much more!

Holy Cross Abbey
Following time at the farm, its just another 15 minute drive to Holy Cross Abbey, home to the Berryville, VA, Trappist monks. We’ll explore the grounds and gift shop where the monks sell honey and fruitcakes (note that the gift shop closes at 4:15 PM). Take some time to pray and connect individually with your spouse or fiance in this beautiful place of prayer and reflection.

Vespers and Benediction at the Abbey
We will conclude the day by joining the monks for Vespers and Benediction in the Monastery Chapel of Holy Cross Abbey at 5:30 PM.
