The Basilica School of Saint Mary Celebrates Catholic Schools Week from January 30-February 5, 2022
Our Basilica School of Saint Mary will be celebrating National Catholic Schools Week from January 30 until February 5.
This year’s theme is an appropriate one: “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” The Basilica School’s Catholic identity, which helps to nurture faith, is reflected in the crucifixes on the walls; the weekly Masses the children attend; the daily prayers they recite; the seasonal confessions that are offered; their daily study of religion; and the Christ-centered curriculum and culture of the school. But most of all, it is found in the hearts of our families and staff who create a Gospel-filled environment in which the students can not only learn about creation but the One who created it.
If you would like your child’s application to be considered in the first round of decisions for the 2022-2023 school year at The Basilica School of Saint Mary, you must complete their full application packet by February 4, 2022. Please click here for more information.
Here are several podcasts devoted to celebrating Catholic schools and The Basilica School of Saint Mary:
Father Hathaway and the Basilica priests share their gratitude in the photo gallery below. They are grateful to the school parents who generously gave them gifts during Catholic Schools Week Priest Appreciation Day last Friday. A heartfelt thank you also goes to the HSA for organizing the day and to all The Basilica School of Saint Mary students who created beautifully designed cards. Our Basilica priests appreciate all the words and actions of support, encouragement and prayers on their behalf. May God bless and reward this amazing school community!
