Parish Offices to Close on February 19, 2024, for Presidents’ Day

In observance of Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 19, 2024, the Basilica Parish Offices will be closed. There will only be one daily Mass on that day — at 9 a.m.

As we celebrate the holiday, let us pray:

God of power and might, wisdom and justice,
through You authority is rightly administered,
laws are enacted, and judgment is decreed.
Assist with Your spirit of counsel and fortitude
the President of the United States, so that he always seeks
the ways of righteousness, justice and mercy.
Grant that he may be enabled by Your powerful protection
to lead our country with honesty and integrity.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
