Join Bishop Athanasius Schneider and the Basilica Priests for a Holy Hour with Solemn Vespers on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Bishop Athanasius Schneider, O.R.C., the auxiliary bishop of Astana, Kazakhstan, and a member of the Canons Regular of the Holy Cross of Coimbra, will be here at the Basilica of Saint Mary for a Holy Hour with Solemn Vespers on Friday, October 22, 2021. The evening begins with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 7 p.m. The Basilica Schola will chant Solemn Vespers in Latin. Bishop Schneider also will offer a reflection. The Holy Hour will conclude with Solemn Benediction and Reposition.

Please join our Rector, the Very Reverend Edward C. Hathaway, and the priests of the Basilica, as we join in Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament with Bishop Schneider.
