Catholic University of America Choir Concert

The Chamber Choir of the Catholic University of America will perform a wide range of choral masterworks at Alexandria’s newly erected Basilica of Saint Mary on Tuesday, April 17 at 7pm.  Works to be performed include selections from Brahms’ celebrated German Requiem, featuring CUA faculty member Nikita Fitenko along with Katerina Zaitseva performing Brahms own piano four-hands arrangement of the work.  Soloists in the Brahms Requiem will be soprano, Danielle McKay and baritone, Kevin Johnson.  The program of sacred works will also feature works by Bairstow, Hurko, Elgar, and others.  This hour-long program will be performed without intermission.
