The Message of Fatima with Sister Angela de Fatima

Fr. Edward Hathaway and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas invite you to a brunch to meet and hear Sister Angela de Fatima Coleho of the Sisters Alianca de Santa Maria speak on “The Message of Fatima” on Tuesday, March 13 at 11:00am in the Lyceum.

Biography

Sister Angela de Fatima Coleho was born in Oporto, Portugal on May 23, 1971.  At the age of 6 she decided she wanted to become a medical doctor and a religious sister.

In 1995, at the age of 24, she graduated from the University of Oporto with a degree in medicine, and one week later entered the convent of the Alianca de Santa Maria.

In 2008, Sr. Angela received her advanced degree in religious science from the Pontifical University in Madrid, Spain.

In 2009, she was named the Vice Postulator for the Cause of Jacinta and Francisco Marto.

In 2012, she became the Postulator of their cause.

In 2014, Sr. Angela was appointed Vice Postulator for the Cause of Servant of God Sr. Lucia.

Sr. Angela met on numerous occasions with Sr. Lucia (the last surviving seer of Fatima), and as Postulator met and interacted with St. John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI and most recently was with Pope Francis on May 13, 2017 as the Holy Father presided at the canonization of Sts. Jacinta and Francisco Marto, the youngest non-martyred Saints in church history.

Sr. Angela is a world renowned expert and speaker on the Messages of Our Lady of Fatima.  She has appeared numerous times on EWTN and spoken to audiences worldwide.  Sr. Angela has a dynamic, joyful and enthusiastic personality that immediately connects with her audiences that have ranged from a few to over 20,000.
