Holy Spirit Novena

Pentecost Sunday will be on June 9 and that officially ends the Easter season. It is an ancient tradition of the Church to pray the Holy Spirit Novena prior to Pentecost Sunday. This novena is the oldest of all of our novenas since it was first made at the direction of Christ when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Spirit on the first Pentecost. It is a powerful appeal to the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. This novena begins on Friday, May 31.
