Deepen Your Faith in the Eucharist by Attending the Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibit on April 15-16, 2023
The following information was shared by the couple who will be showing the exhibit, Peggy and Bill White:
What kind of items are featured and how many?
• Because of size and room limitations, we bring panels describing about 50 of the 152 Eucharistic Miracles that are included in The Vatican International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles of the World.
What should a viewer expect to see?
• Fifty-five 2-by-3 foot color panels with pictures, illustrations and text give a virtual tour of a selection of the variety of Eucharistic Miracles that have occurred over the centuries.
Describe a few highlight items in the exhibit.
• In 750 A.D. a priest in Lanciano, Italy, had doubts about the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist but, when he pronounced the words of consecration, the consecrated host turned into flesh and the consecrated wine turned into blood. Scientific analyses described in the exhibit have confirmed that the flesh and blood, without any preservative, remain intact and are heart muscle and blood type AB (a blood type more common in the Middle East and the same as found in the Shroud of Turin).
• In Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1996, Sokolka, Poland, in 2008 and Legnica, Poland, in 2013, consecrated hosts appeared to become bloody and, when analyzed with sophisticated instrumentation in blind tests, were found to be heart muscle and blood type AB.
• Other parts of the Exhibition give varying evidence of miraculous occurrences associated with the Eucharist over the centuries.
How did your journey with Eucharistic miracles first begin?
• Several years ago we became aware of the miracles that occurred in Buenos Aires and found the website: www.therealpresence.org that has all the information contained in the entire Exhibition. We had a chance to travel to Europe and decided to see which miracles left relics that could still be viewed. We were blessed to visit those in Lanciano, Cascia and Orvieto, Italy.
What has been the role of Archangel Communications?
• We inquired of the Real Presence Association – which maintains the website and produced the materials – whether we could arrange to bring the Exhibition to our community and found that Archangel Communications had a copy that was not currently being displayed and they were willing to let us bring it where we wished.
What is your aim in sharing the exhibit?
• Only one: to help deepen the faith of us all in Jesus’ astounding gift of His real presence, Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity in the Eucharist, just as He promised us. We can hold the God who created us and the universe in our hands and take Him into our very selves. That is the great miracle that presents itself to us every time we attend Mass and receive the Eucharist.
How is this exhibit significant for you?
• It is a repeated reminder of the stunning gift we have in the Eucharist, and a call to renew our own devotion to Jesus through this Gift.
How have you seen this exhibit impact others?
• The facial expressions of the young people when we describe some of the highlights of the exhibit are priceless, as are the words of older folks like us who were unaware of these miraculous events and are touched at the lengths to which our God will go to show us His continuing care and love for us, even when we doubt or disrespect Him. One lady with tears in her eyes kept saying “Thank you! Thank you! So very impressive!” One young 1st grader told her young friends, “All these miracles, isn’t it wonderful!” And a second grader told his class “ All things are possible with God.”
• To date March 1, 2021, over 7,000 people have viewed this Exhibit and tell us how amazed they are by it! Most have never heard of these miracles and are very grateful to learn about them.
• If you can’t get a chance to see the Exhibit in person, do go to www.therealpresence.org and click on Eucharistic Miracles and view the entire presentation of 152 miracles by country or go to www.lifeeternal.org and order a color catalogue of the entire Exhibit and don’t forget to mention it to your friends!
• Carlo Acutis, the young man who researched and designed this Exhibit and who died at age 15 of Leukemia, was beatified in Assisi in October of 2020. He was a remarkable young man and an inspiration to all.
