Congratulations to the 2024 Basilica School of Saint Mary 8th-Grade Graduates

Sixty-nine 8th-grade students graduated from The Basilica School of Saint Mary yesterday afternoon. During the homily of the graduation Mass, Father Hathaway, the Rector of the Basilica, told the students: “Today, as you step forth into the wider world and move on into high school, remember your education extends beyond textbooks and exams to who you are as a child of God, No matter how old you get, even your grandparents, are children of God, and we can all call God our Father and Mary our mother.”

Father Joseph Townsend and Father Peter Clem were present, along with proud family members, school faculty members and Basilica School Principal Robert Loia. Congratulations and may God bless all the students!
