Chair of Saint Peter Holy Hour

To reinforce the particular bond by which Saint Mary, as a Basilica, is united with the Roman cathedra or Chair of Peter, every year we must celebrate with particular care certain feasts connected with the papacy. One of these feasts occurs on Monday, February 22, the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter the Apostle, which celebrates the papacy and Saint Peter as the first bishop of Rome.

We will mark the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter the Apostle at the Basilica with a Holy Hour and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, before our 12:10 pm Mass. There also will be a rosary at 11:30 am. We will also live stream this on our parish website.
