All activities Normally Scheduled in the Church Will Resume on August 1, 2025

The scaffolding in the church for the Basilica ceiling restoration project, which essentially finished as of today, has been taken down, which means that all the normal activities in the Basilica that take place on a Friday (August 1) — and in the days ahead — will take place in the church, such as all the Masses and confessions.

The Nocturnal Adoration Society’s normal First Friday adoration, which starts at 9 p.m. tomorrow evening, August 1, and lasts through just before the start of the 8:30 a.m. Saturday Mass on August 2, will also take place in the church.
