“Walking with Christ in Everyday Life” retreat led by Father Hathaway

Parishioners at the Basilica of Saint Mary are invited to join Father Edward Hathaway as he leads a weekend retreat on September 13 through 15 on “Walking with Christ in Everyday Life.” This silent, two-day retreat with five guided meditations, will begin on Friday evening, September 13, and conclude after lunch on Sunday, September 15, at the beautiful Priest Field Pastoral Center near Middleway, West Virginia.

Priest Field is located on forty acres of wooded property along the Opequon Creek in the Shenandoah Valley. The overall serenity of the property is complemented with well-maintained walking trails, water gardens, outdoor decks and patios that provide many choice places for quiet reflection. Middleway is just west of the state line from Winchester, Virginia. Visit the Priest Field webpage to learn more about the retreat site.

The cost of the retreat is $250 per person, which includes all accommodations and meals. We will only be able to accept 35 participants, so please reserve your space as soon as possible. You can register on Faith Direct or by submitting your name, e-mail address, phone number, and check (made out to the Basilica of Saint Mary) to the Basilica of Saint Mary, 313 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314.
