The Basilica of Saint Mary to Host Solemn Vespers to Inaugurate the Jubilee Preparation Year on November 28, 2021

Sunday, November 28, 2021, is the First Sunday of Advent. To inaugurate the Diocesan Golden Jubilee preparation year in our parish — this first year of our diocesan preparation for celebrating its Golden Jubilee in 2024 focuses on the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and the Meaning of the Mass — the Basilica will be hosting Solemn Sung Vespers  on November 28 at 7:00 p.m. Father Andrew Fisher, the Pastor at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Annandale, VA, will be the celebrant. Please come pray with us that evening. Vespers, also called Evening Prayer, is part of the Liturgy of the Hours, and it is through this prayer that the people of God sanctify the day by praising Him.
