Carlos Briceño

Carlos Briceño is the director of communications and evangelization.

A veteran Catholic journalist born in New York City, Carlos has worked for major national news organizations, including The New York Times and National Public Radio. After working in the secular media, he chose to work for Catholic organizations to better integrate his faith life with his work life. He has done freelance work for Catholic news entities including Our Sunday Visitor, National Catholic Register, The Deacon and Vatican Radio, and was bureau chief for a diocesan newspaper in the Diocese of Saint Petersburg. Most recently, he was the founding editor of Christ is our Hope, the magazine for the Diocese of Joliet. He also is a veteran podcast producer.

Because his wife and daughter have terminal illnesses, he explains he has surrendered to God and seeks His Divine Providence and Will in the sacrament of the present moment. He is also a prayer warrior, so don’t be surprised when he offers to pray for you or your family!
