Rev. Joseph Townsend

Father Joseph Townsend was ordained to the priesthood on June 5, 2021, and has been a parochial vicar at the Basilica since June 24, 2021. He spent time at the Basilica of Saint Mary for his summer assignment when he was a transitional deacon during 2020. He is a 2011 graduate of Christendom College. He worked for Geico Auto Insurance before entering priestly formation.
