Resources for Scheduled Weddings

The resources on this page will assist those couples who have weddings confirmed on the schedule at the Basilica of Saint Mary.

Other considerations:

1. Music Selection: All matters related to wedding music (selection, musicians, cantors, etc.) must be coordinated and approved by the Director of Music. Wedding music must be sacred music and comply with norms established by the Diocese of Arlington and the parish. Our Director of Music can be contacted here.
2. Payment of Wedding Musicians: Payments for wedding musicians are due no later than 30 days in advance of the wedding date to the parish office. The preferred payment method is a check made payable to the Basilica of Saint Mary which can be dropped off at or mailed to the parish office at 313 Duke Street. Alternatively, couples may use Faith Direct but must call the office at the time of payment to receive credit for their payment.
3. City Parking: The City of Alexandria will post reserved parking signs outside the church for your wedding to reserve the front parking spaces for wedding vehicles. For special parking permits call 703-746-4035.
