Father Noah to Explain the Mass during a Special Presentation in the Basilica on November 27, 2023

All parishioners are invited to join us for the RCIA session, The Mass Explained, on Monday, Nov. 27, in the Basilica at 7 p.m. Father Noah Morey will provide an overview of the Mass, its history, structure and meanings, rites and prayers, readings, gestures, furnishings, and why the Mass is the central act of Catholic worship. The presentation begins promptly at 7 p.m. RCIA participants are asked to sign-in for the session and sit near the front of the church. Even if you are not in the RCIA program, parishioners are invited to learn more about the Mass during this special night of teaching. It’s a wonderful way for everyone — from cradle Catholic to newcomer — to learn more about the Mass and the Eucharist, the source and summit of our Catholic faith.
