Date Night at the Basilica
All engaged and married couples are invited to Date Night at the Basilica on Saturday, March 30th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Basilica of Saint Mary’s Lyceum Auditorium.
Date Night at the Basilica is a quarterly fellowship and speaker series focused on living the Sacrament of Marriage. Mingle with other parish couples over appetizers and drinks, then engage with experts on issues relevant to maintaining a great marriage. This is an adults only event to help foster an intimate environment for married couples. Child care will be available at the Lyceum, but it must be reserved in advance.
On March 30th, we’ll be joined by John Mitchell as he talks about “The Power of Words: Asking for Forgiveness.”
Some of the areas Mitchell will cover include:
- What do I learn from Jesus about forgiveness?
- How often should I forgive?
- Is forgiveness ever optional? (God will understand if I don’t forgive “that” …”)
- Is forgiving others supposed to be easy?
- What if I can’t forgive?
- What about forgiving myself?
Space for each Date Night at the Basilica is limited, so please register below to reserve your place. Donations will be accepted on Faith Direct to help cover speaker and catering costs (or you may bring a check or cash to the event). Suggested donation is $40 per couple and $5 per child for child care.
Save the date: Our summer event will be held on June 14th
