Members of the 1795 Legacy Society have included The Basilica of St. Mary’s in their estate plans. In recognition of the generosity and this commitment, 1795 Legacy Society members receive:

- A special certificate, which can be proudly displayed at their home or office
- Reception of a bi-annual newsletters with updates on news from the Basilica
- A custom lapel pin
- Special recognition at the Basilica with invitation to an annual luncheon

Join the 1795 Legacy Society
There are several ways to join. Establishing Life Income Gifts, such as a Charitable Annuity and Charitable Remainder Trusts, allows you to provide for the Basilica while also receiving guaranteed income for life.
Estate Planning, including The Basilica of St. Mary in your will, is perhaps the simplest way to include the Basilica in your planned giving intentions. Naming the Basilica as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy and/or retirement plan is another way to participate in the 1795 Legacy Society.
