College Night

Gear up in your schools colors and mascots! The Associates of St. John Bosco will be hosting a College Night for all rising freshman in college on Wednesday, July 18 at 7pm in the Lyceum Auditorium.

These nights offer insight on how to be an authentic follower of Christ during college. At this event, you’ll hear current and former college students speak on their faith growth through college (or even how they came to know God in the first place!), connect with peers from the same school you are going to be attending, and meet current students from those universities. You should leave the night well-equipped with all the tools you need to maintain a strong and active faith life as you transition into college.

Registration is required for each event to allow proper planning, but there is no cost to attend! Click below to register.

About the Associates of St. John Bosco

Founded in 2011, the Associates of St. John Bosco, Inc. is a tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to connect high school and college students’ faith to their education.

They currently are serving students in the Diocese of Arlington in Virginia. Through their summer College Nights, located in different parishes around the diocese, they connect incoming and current college students with peers of the same faith on the same campus they are attending in the fall. They also provide financial assistance through scholarships, encourage student involvement in the Church in some capacity, and sponsor Catholic speakers on college campuses.

Mission Statement

We encourage college students to connect their faith to their education. ASJB values a deeper knowledge of the Catholic faith, a commitment to growing in the faith throughout an educational career, and expanding the desire to know and love the faith by dedicated involvement in the Church and by serving others.
