Knights collect over 400 coats and nearly $1,200 in donations during annual Coat Drive

The Knights of Columbus – Fitzgerald Council 459 collected over 400 coats and nearly $1,200 in donations during their annual Coat Drive at the Basilica of Saint Mary and the Basilica School of Saint Mary.

“The Knights of Columbus would like to thank the parishioners and school families of the Basilica of Saint Mary for their participation and generosity,” said Grand Knight Steve Teslik. “This response exceeded our expectations and exemplifies the generosity of this community.”

The Knights collected coats and financial donations throughout the month of September. All donated coats will be dry cleaned and distributed locally to those in need.
