Father Haissig assigned to Saint Louis after four years at Saint Mary, Blank appointed to Basilica as Parochial Vicar

Deacon Nicholas Blank has been appointed as the new Parochial Vicar at the Basilica of Saint Mary. Blank is scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood on June 8 at the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More in Arlington.

Blank will replace Father Andrew Haissig, who has been a Parochial Vicar at Saint Mary since June of 2015. Father Haissig has been appointed as a Parochial Vicar at Saint Louis Parish in Alexandria.

Father Noah Morey will be in residence at the Basilica of Saint Mary due to his appointment as Chaplain of Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria. Father Morey is currently a Parochial Vicar at All Saints Parish in Manassas. Father Edward Bresnahan, the current Chaplain of Bishop Ireton, will become a Parochial Vicar at Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish in Clifton.
